Which film do you think will win? Will Meryl Streep take home yet another Oscar? Who will be the new rising stars of Hollywood? I’m no fortune teller so I can’t answer these pressing questions until the Oscars air on Sunday, February 26 at 4 p.m. on ABC.
However, the Buena Park Library District can give you a little history on the past Oscar winners of Best Picture to prepare you for the current one. You can even have a fun little game and debate among friends and family and see some of the ridiculous winners in the past such as 1990’s Dances with Wolves (this three-and-a-half hour saga won the Oscar Best Picture over Goodfellas?!) and The English Patient (I agree with ElaineBenes from Seinfeld on this one no matter what everyone says).
