Read the Book -- See the Movie

Due in movie theaters on November 18th:
The Descendants is based on Kaui Hart Hemmings' 2007 novel. Directed by Alexander Payne, the Hawaii-set dramedy about a man who bonds with his daughters after his wife falls into a coma stars George Clooney, Shailene Woodley, Beau Bridges, and Matthew Lillard.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 is the first of two films adapting Stephenie Meyer's 2008 final novel in her popular YA vampire series. Directed by Bill Condon, the film stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Dakota Fanning, and Anna Kendrick.

Due in movie theaters on December 9:
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy is adapted from John le Carre's 1974 spy thriller--the first entry in the "Karla Trilogy." Directed by Tomas Alfredson, this remake stars Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Colin Firth, John Hurt, Toby Jones, and Mark Strong.

Due in move theaters on December 21:
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is an American adaptation of the 2005 first novel in the late Stieg Larsson's acclaimed "Millennium" trilogy. Directed by David Fincher, the thriller stars Daniel Craig, Stellan Skarsgard, Robin Wright, and Rooney Mara as pierced-and-tattooed 24-year old hacker Lisbeth Salander.
