Author Gayle Brandeis to Speak at The Library -- Monday, June 16th

Author Gayle Brandeis will be sharing her latest book Self Storage on Monday, June 16th at 6:30p.m. in the Library’s auditorium. Gayle's poetry, fiction, and essays have appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies and have received several awards, including Barbara Kingsolver's Bellwether Prize for her fiction book The Book of Dead Birds. In Self Storage, Flan Parker supports her family by going to self-storage auctions and selling the contents of the storage units. Flan embarks on a life-changing odyssey of self-discovery and awareness after bidding on a mysterious box that is empty except for the word "yes."
