Summer Reading kicks off this Saturday, June 24 at the Buena Park Library outside on the lawn, from noon to 3:00 p.m. Fun, games, prizes, snacks, balloons ... you name it, it's probably here.

The themes this year are PAWS, CLAWS, SCALES and TALES for the Children and CREATURE FEATURE for the Teens. Included in our splashy event is the Police Dept.'s Bicycle Rodeo and Bicycle Registration, and its KID ID program. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim "Strike Girls" will be here, too, to share in the fun.
