Southern California Author Carol Snow to Visit Buena Park Library

Carol Snow, author of several adult and teen books will be discussing her novels and the craft of writing at 2 pm in the Boardroom of the Buena Park Library on Saturday, May 21, 2011. Her most recent book Just Like Me, Only Better (2010), has been called “an immensely fun read that … makes Snow an author to watch” by Booklist magazine.

In 2006, Berkley/Penguin published her first novel, Been There, Done That, which Publisher's Weekly called “humorous, wise . . . romance with a bit of social commentary.” Since then, she has written three more books for adults, Getting Warmer (2007), Here Today, Gone to Maui (2009), and book Just Like Me, Only Better (2010). She has also written two young adult books for HarperCollins, Switch (2008), an ALA Quick Pick for Reluctant Readers, and Snap (2009). Foreign rights to Carol’s books have sold to publishers in Germany, Norway, and Romania. Her next novel for adults, What Came First, will be released in October 2011.

Carol Snow grew up in New Jersey. She holds an A.B. in psychology from Brown University and an M.A.T. in English from Boston College. Carol now lives in Fullerton, California, with her husband and their two children.
