Passport Day in the USA

The Buena Park Library is hosting a Passport Fair on Saturday, March 28th, 2009 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm to provide passport information and accept U.S. passport applications. The Buena Park Library is joining the Department of State in celebrating "Passport Day in the USA", a national passport acceptance and outreach event.

Plan ahead and apply for your U.S. passport now! On June 1, 2009, the second phase of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative will go into effect. At that time, U.S. citizens must present a passport book, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the U.S. government to enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports of entry.

For more information and details, call the Library at 714-826-4100 or visit our website at www.buenaparklibrary.org. You may also refer to the U.S. Department of State website at travel.state.gov for application forms, information on documentation required, fees and a wealth of other passport and international travel information.

The Buena Park Library is located at 7150 La Palma Avenue (between Western and Knott) in Buena Park.
