Slate of Free Financial Awareness Seminars at the Buena Park Library

The Society for Financial Awareness – “a non-profit educational organization” and the Buena Park Library District have teamed up once again for another round of free informative noontime Saturday seminars to educate anyone interested on some specific financial topics. The seminars are available to everyone and are generally held from 12 NOON to 1:00 p.m. in the second floor Library Board Room, at the Buena Park Library, 7150 La Palma Ave., on La Palma, between Western and Knott Avenues. The speakers are from Society for Financial Awareness’s Culver City, Orange County and Torrance Chapters.

The first seminar is scheduled for Saturday, February 25, 2006, and the topic is “Tax Planning” with speaker William Dove. The rest of the Saturday line-up is as follows (as of February 1, 2006) with one room change* noted:

  • March 25, 2006, Getting Fiscally Fit, Downstairs Small Meeting Room*, Speaker: Rayna Elmendorf
  • April 22, 2006, Investing Concerns in a “Fragile” Market, Speaker: Rayna Elmendorf
  • May 20, 2006, Legal Lessons for Life, Speaker: Arthur Swerdloft
  • June 17, 2006, “Exploring” Your Options for a Quality Retirement, Speaker: Rayna Elmendorf
