Gustavo Arellano, bestselling author and local columnist, will discuss the history of organic foods in Orange County. He will provide information on everything agricultural: from orange groves to peppers to the new restaurants to eat at. This program will be at the Buena Park Library District on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 2:00 pm.
Gustavo Arellano is a staff writer with OC Weekly, an alternative newspaper in Orange County, California, and a contributing editor to the Los Angeles Times Op/Ed pages. He is a familiar presence in Southern California radio as a frequent guest on liberal and conservative talk shows, where he discusses local and national issues.
Copies of his books Ask A Mexican and Orange County: A Personal History will be available for sale. Light refreshments will be served. There is no charge for this program.
