Free Financial Planning Seminar -- Saturday, April 22nd

The Buena Park Library District is co-sponsoring a free financial awareness seminar with the Society for Financial Awareness, a California non-profit organization that provides financial education through seminars and workshops. The seminar, entitled, Investing Concerns in a “Fragile” Market, will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2006 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in the Buena Park Library’s 2nd floor Board Room, located at 7150 La Palma Avenue, Buena Park, California. The guest speaker will be George McGehee, a member of SOFA.

Topics to be covered during the program include:

  • The U.S. economy is heating up. Learn how to grow your money wisely.
  • Why “down” markets create investment “opportunities” for the wise investor.
  • Do you know what you’re doing when you invest?
  • The “cash flow” eliminator: debt. How spending before planning is “terminal” to investing.

This program is free of charge and the public is invited to attend. No reservations are necessary. For more information, please call the Buena Park Library District Reference Desk at 714-826-4100, extension 125.
