The
Buena Park Library District is co-sponsoring a free financial awareness seminar with the
Society for Financial Awareness, a California non-profit organization that provides financial education through seminars and workshops. The seminar, entitled,
Protecting You and Your Family, will be held on
Saturday, October 8, 2005 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in the Buena Park Library’s 2nd floor Board Room, located at
7150 La Palma Avenue, Buena Park, California. The guest speaker will be
Luke Tai, member of SOFA.
Topics to be covered during the program include:
- Do you even need insurance?
- Eliminating risk
- Purchasing insurance on the Internet
- Selecting the proper coverage
- Special insurance needs for women
