Book Authors to Sign Books on Monday, August 29th

Authors will reveal writing, publishing, career & web marketing secrets on Monday, August 29, 2005 at 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the downstairs auditorium of the Buena Park Library District.

This event is presented by the Buena Park Library & Publishers Roundtable. The authors will have books for signing.

Authors present will be:

  • Carol J. Amato
    Carol J. Amato is the author of 19 books and 125 articles. Her latest book, The Lost Treasure of the Golden Sun, is the first title in a new mystery series, The Phantom Hunters!™ for ages 10 and up. She'll speak on "Getting Your Book Published."

  • Jeanne Lazo
    Jeanne Lazo is the author of three new books: If Looks Could Kill, a mystery for ages ten and up, If Looks Could Kill Teacher's Guide, and How to Write Kids' Mysteries: A Guide for Teen and Adult Writers. In 2004, she co-authored Persistence is Power! A Real-World Guide for the Newly Disabled Employee with Carol J. Amato. Jeanne's topic will be: "Writing Kids' Mysteries: You Can Do It!"

  • Sue McCullough
    Author of Be Your Passion Guide to Life and Career Success, Sue McCullough of Irvine, is a life and career coach and seminar leader. In her "Find Your Passion" exercise, she'll help you visualize your life's passion and begin an action plan for making your passion part of your career and life experience.

  • Peggi Ridgway
    The author of Successful Website Marketing, Peggi is a web site coach and the author of many non-fiction magazine articles, books, newsletters and web pages. She'll share tips to help you "optimize your website" to attract search engines and make your site both user-friendly and search-engine ready.
