April 30th marks a special day in the lives of children. It is a day to celebrate children and books. Known as "El diá de los niños/El diá de los libros,"or "Day of the Children/Day of the Books," this is a day to celebrate the joys and wonders of childhood and the importance of books in our lives.
Mariachi magicians Rafael and Katia will present the “Magic of Reading,” an hour of magic and entertainment that will surprise and delight everyone in the family on Monday, April 30th starting at 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the downstairs auditorium at the Buena Park Library District, located at 7150 La Palma Avenue, between Knott and Western Avenues.

Free Financial Planning Seminar -- Wednesday, April 25
The Buena Park Library District is sponsoring a free financial awareness seminar presented by Buena Park Chamber of Commerce members Peter Chow and Sylvia Woodside, who represent a large dealer/broker in financial planning. The seminar, entitled, Mortgage Financing, will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the Buena Park Library’s 2nd floor Board Room, located at 7150 La Palma Avenue, Buena Park, California.
