Knitting Class for Teens -- Monday, November 28th
Just in time for Christmas gift giving, teens can attend a knitting class and knit a scarf for someone special. The class is Monday, November 28th from 6:00-7:45 and will meet in the downstairs auditorium at the Library. Teens need to bring size 19 U.S. needles (or larger) and two thick and fluffy yarns in two colors that go together.

Free Financial Planning Seminar -- Saturday, Nov 19th
The Buena Park Library District is co-sponsoring a free financial awareness seminar with the Society for Financial Awareness, a California non-profit organization that provides financial education through seminars and workshops. The seminar, entitled, Financial Blunders: Lessons We Never Learn, will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2005 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in the Buena Park Library’s 2nd floor Board Room, located at 7150 La Palma Avenue, Buena Park, California. The guest speaker will be Rayna Elmendorf, a member of SOFA.

- How to “preserve” and “protect” our assets against a plunging market
